Product Reviews for R-Evo GTX Lady
My wife got these for our upcoming South Downs Way walk after wearing out the sole of her previous Scarpa's. Very comfortable, good support and no need to break in. Highly recommended.
Replacments for my worn out leather Scarpa's these were comfortable first on, really light and supportive. Ready for the South Downs Way!
These are extremely comfortable boots straight out of the box. Totally waterproof so far. Highly recommended
I needed a reliable, stable but not too heavy boot and these fit the bill perfectly. Good ankle support and a grippy sole make them perfect for both the high fells and boggy lowland.
I bought the Scarpa R-Evo GTX boots after wearing through my previous Scarpa boots and they do not disappoint! Instantly comfortable with no breaking in required (happy feet after their first outing, a 4-hour hike on rough terrain). Love the sock-style tongue and the flash of (now very muddy) hot pink.
A fantastic all round hiking boot. Lightweight and waterproof they don’t need breaking in and can be worn for fell walking moving on to some of the higher climbs with excellent ankle support or just for approach walks. Great brand, great boot and would highly recommend
Excellent boots, excellent service, fast delivery and excellent communication. The boots are of the best quality and comfortable from the start. I have issues with an old leg injury and these are proving very supportive and cushioning the impact of each step. The most expensive boots I've ever bought and worth every penny. I recommend them.
So I ordered these initially via an online marketplace where LD Mount centre obviously feature, but soon realised I needed the next size up. LDMC were fantastic with the refund and dispatch of the correct sized boots...they were delivered less than 24hrs after me ordering them!! The boots themselves are great...a bit more “proper” than I was used to, but excellent quality and a great brand name. Strong ankle support but yet still comfy, despite being a tad heavier than I’m used to...I did 7miles on the flat to break them in and just done two of the Y3P today to really test them. No blisters after 13.5miles inc some scrambling. Very happy with my purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend LDMC too.
These boots look and feel similar to walking trainers and are more lightweight than many boots; nevertheless, they provide good ankle support and an excellent grip in rainy and snowy weather conditions. They felt comfortable from the first walk and look good, too. I'm normally a size 5.5/6, but size 6.5 (40) fits perfectly.
I went for scarps because of the brand having a good reputation. Boots are good. As for the customer service I have received from LD Mountain, no good at all. After 3 failed delivery attempt from their couriers, I got offer £10 compensation (which equated to the discount everyone was getting for Black Friday deal). When I complained, got today that’s all they were prepared to do, despite having spent £160 with this company. I am not impressed with them and will not buy from them ever again!!!
I bought these based on good reviews and they were not disappointing, other than they were too small in my usual size. Sadly returned. If not for the size, they seemed like excellent boots. Very sturdy and good looking too.
Needed new boots having already worn out a previous pair of Brashers through the first lockdown. Decided to give Scarpa a try and pleased I upgraded. Almost straight out the box comfy. Just a slight rub but these boots are a lot sturdier than anything I’ve worn before so I’m not too worried about that and a bit of wearing in should do the trick. I’ve swapped the insoles for my Superfeet for a bit more arch support. Have a feeling these boots are going to be a sound investment. Really pleased with the service from LD Mountain Centre (even if the cost of the boots have reduced further since my purchase
This is my fourth pair of Scarpa boots over 20+ years of daily dog walks (when I don't need wellies) and fellwalking trips several times per year. I usually have two pairs with me for the fellwalking trips but tbh my boots have never got so wet that they hadn't dried sufficiently enough to wear the following day. Scarpa boots are jolly weatherproof. My feet are wide and I'm usually a UK5 1/2 and I wear thickish walking socks. Scarpa boots have always been a great fit for me and as their sizing seems to be consistent, buying online from a reliable store has been really convenient, particularly during the current pandemic situation. These are the most expensive pair I've purchased but they are super stylish boots and this store had them at a very competitive price. They get a big thumbs up from me.
Wore them on two 6 hour walks in the mountains at the weekend. Really comfortable boots. Good support. Not tested them in the wet yet though. Scarpa always make great boots
These boots are excellent. Very comfy, and no problems at all when worn for the first time, on a 24km walk. Great service & swift delivery.
