Arc’teryx is a Canadian manufacturer of outdoor clothing and equipment based in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Their design philosophy of 'simple solutions to complex problems' produces clothing with a robust and refined elegance, enabling the wearer to be immersed in the moment of doing, regardless of external conditions.
An excellent example of this being the Beta Ar jacket, a visually minimalist hardshell which manages to be both easy to wear and utterly bombproof. As with many of their products, some features so well integrated you may miss them at first - an intrinsically Arc'teryx trait!
Named after the Archaeopteryx Lithographica, the first flying bird, and using its famous skeletal logo Arc’teryx have followed its example by defying convention and producing innovative, functional and quality outdoor clothing and equipment such as the Cerium LT; an industry leading natural/synthetic down composite insulation layer.
