Here at LD Mountain Centre climbing rucksacks are part of our heritage and early Berghaus rucksacks were manufactured on our premises in Newcastle back in the sixties and seventies. Of course today we still stock Berghaus climbing rucksacks like the Arete and Expedition Light 80 but in addition to this we have some great technical packs from Arcteryx, Deuter, Montane, Haglofs and Black Diamond packed with essential climbing features like axe holders, crampon pouches, haul loops, detachable lids, ski carry etc. you name it one of our climbing backpack will have some or all of these features.
