2. How to Order
2.1. All orders can be placed online through this website, alternatively if you wish to phone with questions you can but we can not take your order/payment over the telephone. Please do not e-mail your card details. No responsibility can be taken for the security of your details if given this way. All orders subject to availability.
2.2. Colours, details, specifications and descriptions are given for guidance only and are subject to change without notice.
2.3. You can pay either by VISA, Master Card, Switch, Maestro or Electron. We are unable to accept cheques, cash, or postal orders via the website. It is imperative that you provide the cardholder's name and address exactly as provided to your card company.
2.4. We will take payment in GB pounds (£).
2.5. For transactions outside the UK; the goods are priced and sold in GBP, this means any goods paid for in a non GBP currency will be subject to exchange rate variations to the displayed non GBP price advertised on the website.
As goods are only sold at the GBP price then there may be a variance in the price paid due to fluctuations in the exchange rates.
The actual price paid in the non GBP currency will be displayed at the final point of payment, however the price paid will always be the GBP price.
2.6. We get authorisation for your card payment after we receive your order, once we have checked your card details and confirmed stock availability. Your card will be debited for goods that are in stock and ready for dispatch. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.
3. Acceptance of Order
3.1. No order shall be deemed to be accepted by LD Mountain Centre until a written acknowledgement of your order is issued LD Mountain Centre or LD Mountain Centre delivers the goods to you.
3.2. All orders placed on the LD Mountain Centre website are subject to availability at the time of your order is placed.
4. Pricing Policy
4.1. Prices on the website may vary on occasions from those found in our shop. The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
5.1. Goods will be delivered as stated on the product pages. We aim to dispatch goods in stock as quickly as possible. The maximum period of delivery would be within 30 days, unless specifically agreed with you the customer. We undertake to inform you of any subsequent change to the delivery time. Please let us know as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.
5.2. At this time we are can not deliver to PO Boxes.
5.3. In the event that your order hasn't arrived within a reasonable period of time please contact us.
5.4. Any items that exceed the weight delivery limit of 30kg will be subject to extra postage charges.
5.5 For international delivery 5-7 working days may vary due to local customs. Additional charges may be applied by local customs for import tax on orders outside the EU.
5.6 Orders must be placed before 1pm for Next Working Day orders to be despatched
6. Third Party Sites
6.1. LD Mountain Centre is not responsible for the content of external internet sites that we link to or who are linked to us.
7. Faulty goods
7.1. Please be aware that in order to comply with Health & Safety regulations any faulty items should be returned for assessment free from mud and dirt. We regret that we are unable to process items that do not meet with this criteria.
8. Cancellation Policy
8.1. We aim to meet The Distance Selling Regulations and subject to the provisions of our returns policy outlined above, every customer has the right to cancel their order within 7 days of receiving the goods.
9. Liability Statement
9.1. Climbing, mountaineering, hillwalking, travelling, kiting, skiing, snowboarding, canoeing, cycling and other related sports are potentially hazardous to you and those around you. It is the individual's own responsibility to learn and understand the proper techniques associated with safe participation in these sports and to fully accept and assume all risks, damages, injury or death which may result from the use of the items posted on the LD Mountain Centre website.
10. Email Policy.
10.1. We do send out emails to our mailing list from time to time for large events such as special events and sales. This list includes online shoppers, competition entrants, and those who have specifically signed-up for mailing list purposes.
11. Statutory rights
11.1. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
12. Ski and snowboard hardware
12.1. If you buy skis or a snowboard online we will send them out to you without the bindings mounted. You will be able to take them to your nearest ski shop who will set them up for you, normally for a small charge. Alternatively, for a free of charge binding mounting, bring your hardware, boots and proof of purchase into our shop and we will sort it out, normally within the day.
13. We regret that for Health & Safety reasons we are unable to accept returns of climbing hardware or equipment, underwear & Ski/Snowboard Helmets."
