I've had Mantas for over 25 years now, and I think this is the best iteration yet - tough, comfortable, versatile and now warmer than the previous version. The new last is slightly wider in the forefoot as well so the are a little more forgiving than Manta Pros.

Fit and comfort is excellent. After a long wet day on rough terrain my feet still felt great whilst being warm and dry. Service from LD Mountain Centre was also brilliant as always.

These are simply the best boots I’ve ever had. Fit perfectly and did the job on their first Munro. Required no wearing in. Kept my feet at a good temperature even when we were not on the go. I’ve have a bought a couple of things now from this company, had to return one item due to me ordering the wrong size. Both experiences for buying (at the best price) and returning have been great.

Having had the previous version the Manta Pro which I sometimes found a little cold I decided it was time for an upgrade. They’ve improved many aspects……better insulation, same excellent fit, got rid of those ankle locking lace clips that were a PIA when frozen or your fingers were cold and they’re lighter. Crampons still fit. They’re comfortable to walk in for a B2 boot with a slight forward roll. Looking forward to the winter!
