I've only worn these socks a couple of times now, but they've so far performed perfectly and kept me warm and dry whilst out hiking through snow.

Had these up Roseberry and Cleveland hills in very unsavory weather and I have had no hotspots and they seem to dry very well. The cushioning feels more hardy, rather than wispy inside. Early days but they feel very good even when wet with plenty of toe space. Smartwool feel better with smaller thread and softer wool but I've thread bare a few of them, which is why I'm trying these. These seem more durable but it's very early days, but I'm impressed so far.
