Had sores on my feet from worn out socks while wearing my work boots day to day. Finally bit the bullet and got some of these. Keeps my feet cooler too it seems which is a bonus. Absolute world of difference and wish I had done it sooner!

Best socks for working outdoors all year round, feet don’t sweat and are kept warm even in minus temperatures

My other half works nights on the motorways and always has these socks, they’re the only ones that keep his feet warm (and we’ve tried plenty!) and they don’t fall down in his boots. They’re also very hard wearing even with the steel toe caps.

I do a lot of walking and have used Bridgedale socks for a number of years as they are reliable and durable. These Heavyweight ones are excellent during the winter months. Since purchasing this pair it has been sub-zero everyday and deep snow, my feet have been warm and dry throughout, with one exception. Walking through thick snow, I miss judged where the path was and went through the snow to my waist, with feet in icy water! Not nice, but after dragging myself out, and continuing walking my feet were soon warm and comfortable. This in my mind is the mark of an excellent product.
