Product Reviews for Phase Jacket

After many many years of service my previous Montane jacket no longer kept out the rain (there's only so muck Nikwax Waterproof Wash can do). So having been very happy with my previous jacket I wanted a like for like replacement. The new jacket (size - medium) is a little more snug than the previous design so a big thick jumper might not work but as I rarely need this with a waterproof coat I don't see it as an issue. Flattering cut and quality feel and nice to have the GoreTex upgrade from the previous jacket.

I tried all the brands but Montanes particular shape fits me just right. I upgraded from a pertex jacket which could quite last a day of downpour. This jacket on the other hand feels much more substantial and has kep me completely dry and still breathable in many hours of rain. I found that jackets above this price point include much larger hoods for helmets which are way too big for me, A £300 jacket for £200.
