An xmas present for her outdoors this is the second pair, warm and quick drying if the weather is inclement also very hard wearing and look great.

These are the most comfortable hiking trousers I have ever worn. They give freedom of movement and the fit is great. The only thing I would say could be improved is the belt as it can easily slide into the top and is a job to retrieve.

These are my second pair as I nearly live in these. They are so comfortable and wash and dry so quickly. They look good too! As with Mountain Equipment garments....lovely quality.

Well made trousers, good quality materials and neat stiching. The fit is tight (like leggings), but I'm still able to wear a base layer underneath. The trousers have a good stretch and feature triangle gusset that helps with the range of movement. Nice big zip pockets that can fit a large smartphone. From the experience, these trousers keep wind and light rain out just fine. They did get soaked in heavy rain a couple of times (this is to be expected), but the material dried quite quickly. They are easy to clean, I just wipe of the mud after hiking so I don't have to wash them very often.
