Product Reviews for Vardag Anorak
This Fjallraven Vardag, is amongst the most premium quality pieces of kit, ive bought in many years, and feels far better quality than their Greenland jacket, which i also own. You have to be very careful in choosing the correct sizing, as i normally wear a Large fitting for my outdoor clothing, and even find the Medium sized one, almost too large, but it provides sufficient roof for the wearing of other padded jackets or such like. The length of the sleeves is perfect, not overly long like some other jackets i own, and the adjustment is spot on. Hood adjustment is easy, and the comfort and protection the hood gives, is excellent. I only have two very minor complaints, and their so minor, that some may think their not worthy of mention. I would have liked an extra press stud or two down the front of the storm flap, as a crosswind blowing from your side, rides the storm flap up a little, allowing moisture to possibly get under the zip. The other gripe, is that the adjustment cords for the hood, look like they may disappear into the main hood, so i placed two small cord locks to stop this happening. That's it, the Vardag Anorak, has a very premium feel to it, even premium for Fjallraven, and apart from my two minor issues, its worth every penny spent. Colour wise, the Uncle Blue and Khaki colour scheme looks the most up market, and really sets off the design of this beautiful anorak.
Beautifully made, very well thought through and versatile piece of clothing. Spacious front pocket for storing beanie, cheese sandwich, as you please. Side pockets for keeping your hands out the wind and rain. Very useful side zip (R/H side) for making it easy to put on and take off, with adjustable cord around the waist. Love it. Only cautionary word is sizing - I think this is typical of Fjallraven outerwear but I am size 42-44 inch chest and I found the medium is perfect. So perhaps consider size down from normal. Cheers
Excellent quality, good fit, arrived quickly.
