Wore it after speedy delivery for my Lake District weekend trip it got tested to the max on a hike up Helvellyn in rain and gale force winds a great coat

My husband wanted a lightweight, versatile Summer jacket that looks good. The Fjallraven Skogso jacket really fits the bill. The colour is nice and the fit is simple but not boring. The coat is comfortable to wear and easy to pack.

A great light weight hiking jacket that looks awesome. I’m 190 cm, 106 cm chest and 86 kg - large fits perfectly (arm length is long and good) and a nice slim fit with enough room to fit a couple of warmer layers underneath or even a big down jacket.. havent tried it in the rain, but for anything more than a light shower it’ll need waxing - and for prolonged rain then gortex over layer will be necessary I reckon. But for wind stop, light showers, high neck and deep hood you can’t go wrong.. you’ll get compliments too..

This is the first Fjallraven jacket I’ve had, I had an old mammut goretex for walking/adventure but wanted to try something a bit different for being outdoors. The jacket is a lightweight but robust feeling material. It’s a great fit (I am 5’11, 75kg) and the Medium is perfect. The arms are cut a bit longer, but I think that is better than too short. Also you can button them in so they are snug around the cuff. It blocks wind well and seems to have a look layer of wax on it it keep the water out. Overall I’m impressed.
