I had an earlier version, bought in 2015. It’s still going strong - even after one of my sons nabbed it to use while decorating and splodged paint and filler on it. It’s worn but it’s been great and only now are the signs off wear showing. I’ll still use it for rough wear in wilderness and when working in woodlands and camping trips. But I bit the bullet and forked out for a new one- it’s. Just as good, cost more than the old one, but that’s inflation. It’s great and I’m sure will last at least 10 years - and I bought a second one this week for the son who almost ruined the old one. Good delivery, good price, and good tracking - thanks.
I am a great fan of Rab, for both outdoor activities and leisure wear, and this jacket does not disappoint. Good fit, reasonable sale price and really warm and stylish. I was so pleased with the product that I bought another one in a different colour for my son.
A very well made jacket, that is both warm yet breathable. I found myself kept at a very stable temp and not harassed by the wind.. Its a great fit and looks the part to, I have no hesitation in recommending this jacket or LD to people going forward.
Medium fits well for average build 6ft person. Looks really smart, is comfy, warm, has good pockets. Delivered promptly and good sale price.
Really warm fleece and a solid wind proof lining on the inside. Haven’t got it wet yet but wil be great for cold crisp days in Northumberland.

Wore this on a cold day out and as soon as I put it on I started warming up. Had to check the label because I thought it was down, it’s polyester but it’s very warm. Great for those cold autumn/ winter walks.

This is a really warm fleece. It didn’t feel like it when I first put it on due to the lining, which felt cold. However, within a minute I was really toasty. I recommend this fleece.
Great fleece. The lining functions as a windbreaker and the thick pile gives premium warmth.

First time using LD but not Rab! Both come highly recommended. The fleece is excellent, wouldn't use it when doing an sort of exercise as it will probably be too warm but for a stroll into town or spectating it is ideal & the lining keeps the wind out! The fit & feel is 1st class (5'7"/ 40" chest = Size M) Thanks LD for best price & perfect service, hope to use you again.
Having worn my Original Pile Jacket a few times now I do like it but find the synthetic lining causes perspiration. I own a Sprayway Windblock fleece jacket which is equally as wind proof without the lining so the Sprayway breathes better so no perspiration. A also noticed with the Original Pile Jacket that on a cold breezy day cold air blows past the cuffs and up the sleeves making me cold, why didn't Rab include a means of closing the cuffs like a Velcro strap or elasticated cuffs. I always find it a shame when I buy a good product that could have been a great product with a bit more thought.

Very nice. I bought one last year in the sale. its so good I bought the other two colours this year. Warm , light, wears well. The sleeves are longer than usual but that ok. Looks and feels cosy.
