Product Reviews for Mythic Alpine Jacket
Great jacket. So light and comfortable you feel you aren’t wearing an outer layer. For general wear just in civvie street but would be a fantastic option for the hills. Great price and good delivery time.
Absolute gem of a jacket. So light you feel you aren’t wearing an outer layer. For general wear just a t-shirt underneath will suffice and keep you warm. For camping and colder conditions I haven’t got anything that compares for warmth. Add an underlayer and you’re set for very cold conditions. The pockets are great although an inside or outside chest pocket would not have been useful. The zips are great and can be worked one handed without any hassle. My only word of warning would be not to wear it in wet conditions without a shell layer. Other than that it’s brilliant. Packs down to nothing and adds virtually no weight to your load when hiking. Highly recommended.
Really pleased with the quality

A excellent winter warm jacket worn for walk to walk when it was -5 and kept me very warm if it’s raining I would maybe wear jacket under a hard shell a excellent all round winter jacket 10–10 for jacket 10-10 again for fast delivery and service
After weeks of searching for a technical down jacket I narrowed my search to two jackets. Rab mythic Alpine North face breithorn I really couldn't find many decent reviews on the Rab and it's not a brand iv owned before but I was lucky enough to try both in a shop. I feel the Rab suited the style and tasks I would expect of it better than the Breithorn. it's a super comfy jacket and being slim fitting looks good both on a mountain or cutting about in a city. It's recently been -5'c and just wearing a t-shirt underneath I was more than comfortable while stood still for a few hours. What I noticed also was as I got more mobile and warmed up the jacket didn't make me sweat or get to hot, it Regulated my body temperature amazingly. There's pros and cons to every jacket like I have Arc'teryx puffas but the zips are rubbish, yet the stiching is the best, Mountain hardware puffas are stiff and noisy yet are bullet proof. All round though the Rab so far for me is doing the job and it will most likely become my daily go to as well as my go to technical. I'm 5,9, 32 waist. I'm usually stuck between sizes I'm like a small large and large medium if that makes sense. I choose the Rab in a Medium and it fits and looks great given me enough room for a hoodie if needs be but still keeping the slim fitting look. Ld Mountain Centre offerd this puffa at one of the best prices I could find and the buying and delivery process ran super smooth so top marks to them. In all great jacket...Enjoy!
Feels wonderful, fits great, warm, comfortable, looks good. Superlight and compressible but with volume when worn. Well worth the buy, beats the Arc'teryx Cerium it was replacing, hands down.
Very light, very beautiful, very good price in the sale. Definitely recommend this for hikers, skiers and arctic explorers
Very lightweight, very sexy, very good price in the sale.
I have now had this jacket for a few weeks. It still requires a full outing to test it in more extreme conditions. But these are my first impressions in a general day to day use in temps of zero to minus three. It has performed very well and is great at maintaining core temperature while being semi active. I really like it light weight, I can see great benefit of this when doing multi day hikes. The outer material is thin and could be liable to damage if caught on brambles or barbwire, but that is the compromise on weight. I am a size 39” chest and opted for a large, which feels about right. Fits well under a waterproof coat, without looking too bulky.
