Great winter jacket. I bought a Large, I’m 6ft and 95kg and it fits perfect. You won’t need many layers underneath, the jacket is very warm and keeps out the wind.
Excellent jacket. It is of very high quality and very well thought out. It is very warm without being too warm like some down jackets. It’s a little longer than a lot of modern jackets, which is a real bonus when it’s cold. The pockets are excellent, with 6 zip pockets and two larger mesh pockets for gloves etc. Overall a first class product which should last for many years.

Really pleased with my purchase. Great fit and quality. Bought it as an all round cold weather jacket. So good, will consider taking it skiing. Feels like it will last for a good few years, so worth the premium price.

Bought this jacket as fed up with all the puffer jackets. It’s a lovely fitting Parker which feels like a quality garment. Looking forward to using it in cold temperatures. I am 180cm and 78kg and medium is good for me with room for another light jacket/mid layer underneath but not baggy when worn with just a base layer. Yes the arms are long but adjust at cuffs and it’s not a problem. Covers your bum nicely who wants a cold bum?
This jacket has many benefits but the key points of difference from many other such jackets that you can purchase is the quality of the outer fabric and it’s ability to handle wind and rain. Whilst this isn’t a waterproof or windproof jacket it does a first rate job unless you absolutely spend hours in atrocious conditions. The fabric is soft to the touch, is quiet and does not have the Goretex crinkle noise, and will tend to hug round you rather than hang on you like most waterproof jackets. The thermal lining is super soft and enables layering, and with so many useful pockets I find the need for a rucksack less and less. I use this jacket for daily winter walks, going to the match and other winter chores. I wouldn’t head into the hills as I think it would be too bulky but that’s a personal choice. Overall, a great purchase and one I expect to get a great deal of use from.
Been looking for a winter jacket for a while and finally settled on the Fjallraven Skogso. I have a few other items from Fjallraven and I repeatedly come back to their products primarily for their design, functionality, consistent sizing and quality of construction and materials. The G1000 fabric makes a lot less noise than other fabrics used by many other brands, and the easy application of Greenland wax makes it really easy to adjust the water resistance and breathability depending on the season. Sizing with Fjallraven is always consistent, I'm 6'2" 98kg with broad shoulders and the XL fits excellently. As to the purchasing experience, the pictures and product details provided on the LDMountain Centre website are very accurate and the colour (deep forest) was as pictured. Saved 90 pounds (no small amount) off the original price and the ordering process was simple, and secure. Confirmation of purchase arrived immediately and the Jacket was delivered a couple of days after ordering so no problems there. Definitely will be purchasing more Fjallraven products in the future and LD Mountain Centre will be my first stop when shopping. Fully recommend LD Mountain Centre.

Great warm jacket I normaly wear Medium and I am 185 cm tall and I have S size fits perfectly so beware of sizing.Did not use Greenland wax yet to improve G1000 fabric so hard to say how to jacket works in the rain.Wax is on the list next.
