The Fjallraven Abisko Trek 48 M/L is a lightweight, hardwearing 48-litre backpack perfect for trekking in warm climates. The M/L variant has a fully adjustable carrying system fitting back lengths 38-52cm. Sturdy, comfortable carrying system with ergonomic shoulder straps, supportive hipbelt and good air circulation. Storage is well thought through with zippers that open up the front panel for easy access to contents and an inside mesh sleeve. The top lid can be removed and used as a hip pack or shoulder bag on shorter excursions away from the main pack. Made from 210D recycled polyamide ripstop with 1500mm PU coating and C0 DWR. Reinforced base in 500D recycled polyamide. Lining made from 100% recycled polyamide. The 48L capacity sits between the smaller Abisko Friluft and the larger Abisko Trek 65 - the right size for the kind of multi-day cabin-to-cabin or hut-to-hut trekking where the load is real but not full expedition-grade. Fit note: The Abisko Trek's carrying system is fully adjustable - the S/M version fits torso lengths 38-52cm and the M/L version fits 38-58cm. Ergonomic shoulder straps with air mesh and a supportive hipbelt distribute load across long days. Removable top lid doubles as a hip pack.

For orders to destinations outside the UK, including the Channel Islands, the applicable selling price will be calculated and displayed once the delivery destination has been entered and before the customer proceeds with payment. The price displayed at checkout is the price applicable to that destination, together with any separately stated delivery charges.

LD Mountain Centre reserve the right to amend orders placed with incorrect delivery options without notice. LD Mountain Centre does not accept responsibility for items being delayed through customs/ security checks or adverse weather conditions. There are no refunds on shipping costs unless LD Mountain Centre is responsible for the error. In the unfortunate event that a product is out of stock a member of our Customer Service Team will contact you.

For international orders, the couriers we use are Royal Mail, DPD and UPS.

Please be advised that for countries outside the EU, as well as the Canary Islands, there may be customs and VAT charges that the customer will be expected to pay. LD Mountain Centre are not liable for these payments.

All UK Next Working Day orders placed before 1pm (Monday-Friday) will be dispatched that day, subject to stock availability. Orders placed via UK Next Working Day on Friday Afternoon, Saturday or Sunday, will be dispatched on the next Monday. A signature/PIN code will often be required for delivery of goods with a value of more than £350 so please make sure someone is at the delivery address to receive the goods or send them to an address where someone will be available. Any required PIN Codes will be provided by DPD via text or email.

If you wish to send orders via Royal Mail instead of DPD, please contact our Customer Service team; however please note that you may be liable for any lost parcels and this service is only available within the UK.

Once your order has been dispatched from the warehouse you will receive a confirmation email to let you know it is on the way.

Returns Update:

Our team are currently processing all returns within 7-10 days of receipt. 

Returns

We ask that any returned items are unused/unworn and are returned within 30 days of their purchase date in the same packaging as they arrived, and with their product tags still attached.

Please Note: We are unable to accept any returns with any clear sign of cosmetic or fragrance use. We are also unable to accept any returns on Underwear, Electronics, DVDs or items governed by PPE Law (Snowsport and Climbing Helmets, Climbing Hardware, Climbing Ropes, Ice axes or Crampons.) 

Our Online Returns System makes it easy to exchange or return any unsuitable or unwanted products. If, for any reason, you wish to return an item you have purchased from the LD Mountain Centre Website please go to the Your Account section of our website. If you already have an account, please log in. If not, please register a new account using the same email address used when placing your order. 

Once logged in to your account, select the ‘My Order History’ link and on the new page select the order you wish to return. Mark the tick box beside the item(s) you wish to return and enter the quantity being returned. Once done, click the ‘Return Item(s)’ button at the bottom right of the page.

You will be sent an email with a returns form attached. Please print and complete the form, enclose the top part of the form with your item. If you do not have access to a printer, please include a hand written note stating your name, order number, and reason for return, and the preferred outcome - whether that's a refund or exchange. Exchanges will be based on stock levels at the time of processing. In the event that we aren't able to fulfil this request, a refund will be issued.

Please ensure that any returned items are sent using an Insured and Traceable mail service as LD Mountain Centre cannot accept any responsibility for items lost whilst in transit. 

We aim to process returned orders as quickly as possible once we have received them, however, in busy periods refunds and exchanges may take up to 14 working days to process.

Upon inspection of a returned product, LD Mountain Centre will issue a refund for the cost of the product(s) to the card used for the purchase. If the full order is returned within 7 days, a refund for the initial postage fee will also be processed. Any used items will be denied a refund and returned to the customer at his/her expense.
