Product Reviews for Rocfly G 390
Very pleased with these lightweight boots, very comfortable straight out the box. Already done several 5 to 10 mile walks on trails and footpaths locally, good grip on different terrain, and felt they offered good support on uneven ground. As I suffer often from heel pain, choice of boot for me is critical, these boots so far have given excellent comfort with no heel pain. After reading reviews I went up half a size, as many suggested and agree with the consensus. Nice fit also as I've wide feet. Very good service from LD Mountain Centre, product arrived promptly and at a very good price.
I wanted a pair of lightweight walking boots for the Coast to Coast. I've used, and loved, the Inov8 fell running shoes in the past and was pleased to find the Rocfly G390 boots. As stated by a previous reviewer, I had to go up a half size from my previous 9.5 fell running shoes. I've had the size 10's a week now and I'm pleased with them after a couple of 10 mile walks.
Bought these after enjoying inov8s fell running shoes and was after a boot that would be suitable for walking with a fell running feel. they fitted the bill well, but id ordered the same size as my other shoes and they came up too small, would recommend going half size up
Really comfortable straight out of the box. I purchased these boots to be my new 3 season boots. I haven't completed a long walk in them yet, but first signs are very good. Grippy on all surfaces, very comfortable, even for someone who has fairly wide feet. I'm a size 12 and feel these are pretty true to size. I was slightly worried about stability but the ankle support is good. Be aware that these are not waterproof and don't have Goretex, but if you're looking for breathability over water protection, these are a great choice.
No real chance to go up a hill with these yet but first impressions are good - unlike many Inov-8 products they are wide enough for my feet. Smart colour too.
Tried today at South Downs on slippery terrain - excellent grip and comfort!
