These were my first slightly more aggressive shoe after my first pair which were a set of LaSportiva tarantulas. I went down a full size from my regular shoe size and after the first few hours climbing the shoes have moulded to my feet really well. I've found the rubber has a very good grip and really enjoy the increase I've achieved in toe precision. Would highly recommend.

I have been climbing for a few years and have been using a Scarpa Origin shoe. Now I have built up my climbing skills, I have been looking for a great all-around shoe to use indoors & outdoors. The Scarpa Vaprour I feel meets my requirements, as is light, has a slight downturn but is comfy outside for trad.

A little tight, but hopefully will loosen after a climb or two. Have worn twice now and have noticed the difference and accuracy with my footwork Would recommend

Excellent service from LD brought me these Vapour Vs which are a step up for me as a relatively new climber. Previously wearing La Sportiva Tarantulas, I followed advice and bought a size up from them - so a 43 instead of a 42. That was about right. They are snug and my toes are slightly crimped, but I can keep them on for most of a session. They're a good around shoe for anyone who hasn't really settled what kind of climbing they want to specialise in. The one weakness I've found is smearing where the sole feels a bit too rigid. On the other hand, they are great for edging and toe hooking. All in all, I'm very happy.
