Fjallraven Vidda Pro Trouser Features:

  • Durable G-1000 Material
  • Wind and Water Resistant
  • Reinforced Knees and Derrière
  • Pocket in the Knee for Pads
  • Regular Fit
  • Knife, Map and Axe Pocket
  • Two Hand Pockets

The Vidda Pro Trousers are a super tough trekking pant similar to the Barents Pro Pant but with a fixed leg length with reinforced ankle cuff with adjustment. Heavily reinforced on the knees and back the classic outdoor trousers are designed to take whatever the mountains can throw at them. The G1000 fabric is designed to take Fjallraven Greenland Wax so you can customise your level of water and wind resistance.

5Best trousers I've ever owned

Since discovering Fjallraven's Vidda Pro trousers I'm now reluctant to wear anything else - At work or play. They are so well made: The fit, the quality of the stitching, the incredibly well thought out pocket arrangements - As much pocket space as you could ever need (I carry tools), Fjallraven have made the bold & sensible move of doing away with any back pockets (I don't sit on tools!). With a little Greenland wax rubbed on & melted in with a hairdryer, the fabric is still soft & comfortable yet highly water resistant (I wear these trousers for Skiing too). They're proving to be extremely hard-wearing, as you'd expect: G1000 fabric is rewnowned for its durability. I can't fault these trousers or recommend them highly enough to anyone considering getting some. They aren't cheap let's face it. But they're worth every penny. You get what you pay for, and more.
