Osprey Atmos AG 50 Features:
Designed for multi-day treks in any climate, the new Atmos AG 50 backpack from Osprey lets you carry that extra equipment without feeling burdened. The Atmos comes in two size options and makes use of an adjustable backpanel, harness and hip-belt for a custom fit. With comfort always on the mind, Osprey have constructed the hipbelt and back panel in breathable mesh, ideal for strenuous days and hot climates.
As always with Osprey packs, this backpack is fully kitted out. The stretch, front pocket is perfect for stowing essentials such as waterproofs that you need quick access too, and zip pockets on the hip belt are ideal for snacks or tools. Compatible with various hydration systems, the Atmos also has mesh, side pockets for water bottles so you can easily keep hydrated on the move.
The top lid can be removed for stripped down adventures and a flap, top cover used to protect your kit. Featuring Osprey's stow-on-the-Go walking pole attachment, ice axe loops and a lower, sleeping bag compartment, the Atmos has all the features you'll need for your next trip into the wilderness.
I got so confused reading the reviews of this and the 65 variants that I didn't realise this pack lacked the straps at the bottom for a roll mat, and the extra front pocket along the side of the main compartment. The dimensions of the 50 and 65 don't differ too much, so I returned this and bought the 65 for the extra features.
