Rab Primaloft Glove Features:
Rab's Primaloft Gloves combine the warmth of Primaloft with the wicking abilities of natural merino wool. Conductive yarn allows the use of touchscreen devices whilst keeping your hands warm and the Rab Primaloft Gloves can be used as a stand alone glove or as a super warm liner beneath a gauntlet.
I'm not too sure what to make of these gloves. They're slightly thicker than a typical liner glove, but aren't warm enough as a cold day outer either - good to about freezing, any lower and they aren't enough. Perhaps I didn't read the blurb carefully enough, but there's no sign of any Primaloft stuffed in there and from photo's and the title I assumed they'd be a thick winter glove. They aren't. Oh, and the cuffs could do with being an inch longer to eliminate wrist gaps when reaching - they're slightly longer than a typical glove, but could be better.
That being said the conducive thread works well and when using touch screens there's no loss of dexterity. And being merino based they're comfortable.
A good day to day glove, and for on the hill use I think they'll do fine as a liner glove beneath something more substantial. But I wasn't as blown away with them as I have been with other Rab products.
