  • 100% Paraffine, Beeswax
  • Adds water repellency
  • Easy to apply and maintain
  • Can darken colour of garment when initially applied

Environmentally friendly wax made from paraffin and beeswax. The Greenland Wax is used in all Fjallraven's G-1000® products (except G-1000® SC products). The wax will over time be worn and the product will partly loose some of its functionality. It is therefore recomended that you re-wax your product regularly.

5Fjallraven Greenland Wax

Definitely needed if you want to keep the Fjallraven G1000 material as waterproof as possible. Very similar process to the re-waxing of the Belstaff jackets but much quicker and easier. The "soap bar" of wax goes on easily and melts fine with a hairdryer. It should be noted that on lighter coloured jackets it does give a slightly mottled effect and darkens the material a little. It gives it a nice aged or broken in look. It is of course reversible with a wash.

Quick delivery and well packed with other items. The wax is easy to apply but i found the hot hairdryer was best for softening the wax and getting into the seams. Too scared applying with the iron!
